For operational security, the U.S. doesn’t say publicly where our Special Operations forces are located, which makes complete sense. But we now find out, that for the past two months, Obama’s Pentagon has been informing Russia where America’s Special Operations forces are operating in Syria. Supposedly to avoid conflict.
When Russia began it’s bombing attacks in Syria last October, they immediately told the U.S. to stay out of certain, defined areas, and gave us a one hour notice. They didn’t request it, they told us.
“We provided a geographical area that we asked (the Russians) to stay out of because of the risk to U.S. forces,” a Pentagon spokesman said Thursday.
Since December Pentagon officials have been passing on to Russian defense officials where the U.S. troops are “with the hopes that Russian aircraft will steer clear of that area” and not attack U.S. troops, according to a report by Andrew Tilghman in the authoritative Military Times, .
Did you catch that? We “asked” and “with the hope”? So Russia who is backing Assad isn’t going to tell the Syrian armed forces where the United States, who is backing the rebels, has their Special Operations forces? So the Traitor-in-Chief of the most powerful military in the world “hopes” that Russia won’t target our military forces?
Do you think Russia will avoid the areas where our special forces are?
