Jonathan Cahn is a Messianic Jew who has been studying all these things, to better grasp Biblical prophecy.
There’s a calendar that’s been running silently since the Jews settled in the Holy Land, and Westerners are only now beginning to understand it.
This calendar is called the Shemittah. The Jewish people started counting and observing seven-year cycles a long time ago. Each cycle culminates in a Sabbatical year, known as Shemittah, or literally: “to release.” In short, this is a practice where debts are to be forgiven every seven years. But for countries, it can also mean a resetting of debt.
For America, this has been a sign of God’s judgement on our country. September 11, 2001 happened on a Shemittah year. Seven years after that was September, 2008, the day of the single greatest stock market crash in American history. In each of these tragedies, Americans have had the arrogance to say “We will rebuild,” instead of repenting.
If these things have been going on every 7 years, we need to pay attention to these following dates:
September 13, is the end of the Shemitah
September 14, is the Festival of Trumpets or Rosh Hashanah
September 23, The Day of Atonement
September 28, The last Blood Moon and Feast of Tabernacles.
