Most people know that Jaguars are one of the largest felines to inhabit the earth, being third only to the Tiger and Lion. But did you know they exist in the southwestern U.S.? And that they’re solitary, opportunistic animals that enjoy swimming and use the stalk and ambush attack to kill their prey? This video is a spectacular example of those skills and of the Jaguar’s bite being strong enough to pierce the shell of a crocodile and biting through the skull, into the brain.
