‘It was worse than being at Wal-Mart on Black Friday,’ parent Val McCormick wrote on the PEZ Facebook page on Saturday.
This parent is describing the chaos at the 3rd annual Easter Egg Hunt at the PEZ candy factory. More than 1,000 people showed up to hunt for the 9,000 eggs that were hidden. The egg hunt was scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday but the parents of all those children must have been tired of waiting and decided to start the egg hunt early. And children be damned, they were going to get some eggs.
