U.S. Marines stopped a gunman who opened fire with a Kalashnikov AK-47 on a high-speed train from Amsterdam to Paris. The suspected terrorist was taken out by two Marines after he came out of the bathroom and opened fire. Three people, one of them a Marine, were wounded.
DailyMail.com is reporting the gunman is a Moroccan national, 26 years old and was known to security forces. He had almost 200 rounds of ammunition and was also carrying a knife. He was arrested in Arras, France, 6:00 p.m. local time. As usual, authorities are saying the motive is unknown and “it’s too early to speak of a terrorist link”.
