Back in the 1950’s, a strange creature from outer space hit earth. It looked like wobbly jello and it ate everything in sight, growing in size as it did. Fortunately, some small town heroes figured out that cold could stop it and they froze it with fire extinguishers and then sent it packing to the North Pole.
Yes, I’m sure you remember that movie too, “The Blob,” and it’s fateful warning about Global Warming at the end. I’d be willing to bet it was one of the movies that inspired a then young Al Gore.
It seems the ending of that movie has come to fruition, as what is being called a Godzilla El Nino and a Blob is reeking havoc on all things nature now, as we’re seeing in California with massive flooding. And according to weather forcasters, things are going to get much worse before they get better.
