This is so much worse than we thought. Just when we think the Pope couldn’t be more insane, we learn that in 1965, Pope Paul VI made the Declaration on the Relation of the Church to Non-Christian Religions, a.k.a. the Nostra Aetate (“In Our Time”).
This Papal Declaration (called a “Bull”) makes the following statement in the introduction:
“One is the community of all peoples, one their origin, for God made the whole human race to live over the face of the earth. One also is their final goal, God. His providence, His manifestations of goodness, His saving design extend to all men, until that time when the elect will be united in the Holy City, the city ablaze with the glory of God, where the nations will walk in His light.”
And this in section 3:
“The Church regards with esteem also the Moslems. They adore the one God, living and subsisting in Himself; merciful and all-powerful, the Creator of heaven and earth…”
Has Catholicism gone off the rails, too? It seems this this is old news… 1965 was quite a while ago. Strange how few people are aware of it, though.
