A group of four friends who hadn’t seen each other in quite some time ran into each other at a party and began talking over drinks. One of the men disappeared to use the bathroom and the other three men began talking about their sons.
“I’m so proud of my son,” the first man said. He started out at the bottom floor with his company. He worked his way to the top and now he’s the CEO. He’s so rich that he gave his best friend a brand new Mercedes Benz!”
“That’s great,” said the second man. “My son has done really well, too. He’s a pilot. He started out flying puddle jumpers but worked his way up to an international pilot. He’s actually a partner now in his airline firm. He’s so rich, he recently bought his best friend a brand new Lear jet.”
“Wow,” said the third man. “All of our sons have done so well. Mine went to the best colleges and became an engineer. He now owns a large construction company, and he’s so rich he recently bought his best friend a 30,000 square foot mansion.”
At this time, the fourth man came back from the restroom and asked what they’d been talking about. They told him they’d been discussing how successful their sons were and asked him what his son was doing these days.
“Oh,” the man said. “My son’s gay. He works as a stripper at a male escort bar.”
“Sorry to hear that,” the other men said in unison.
“Oh, it’s great,” the fourth man said. “He’s my son, and I love him no matter what. Besides, he does quite well for himself. His birthday was just two weeks ago and his boyfriends gave him a Mercedes Benz, a Lear jet, and a 30,000 square foot mansion.”
