In a recent radio interview with Abu Al-Ayna al-Ansari, leader of the Salafi group allied with the Islamic State (ISIS), show host Aaron Klein says specific jihadist threats were made against the White House, Christians and Pam Geller. Geller is the organizer of a Muhammad drawing competition in Texas last month that has made her a target of Islamic threats.
When asked about the intentions of ISIS within the U.S., Abu Al-Ayna al-Ansari stated that, “Our goal is to bring Islam, to bring Sharia all around the world. And we will not rest until we see our flag raised in the United States, raised upon the White House and everywhere there are Crusaders who are fighting our people.” He further stated, “We are seeking the world. We are seeking the whole world. We are seeking a confrontation against all Crusaders, against all Christians, against all infidels until they adopt the Islamic religion, until they follow the Sharia of Allah.”
“We are seeking the world. We are seeking the whole world. We are seeking a confrontation against all Crusaders, against all Christians, against all infidels until they adopt the Islamic religion, until they follow the Sharia of Allah.”
Another topic discussed was the ongoing power struggle between the Hamas and Salafist groups in Gaza. Al-Ansari claims that, “We are those who represent the Sharia of Allah. We are the ones who represent the Islamic State, unlike Hamas that it is called an Islamic organization but is actually a bunch of opportunists. Hamas is strong in media, is strong in propaganda but they are not serving the jihad.”
Klein refused to air the interview live for fear al-Ansari would make live threats. Instead, he taped the interview and edited out portions considered to be a security threat. Klein’s intent in conducting the interview was to provide Americans with a view into the minds of ISIS followers and to determine if there was any way to achieve peace with the group.
Why it Matters
This interview reveals the stark reality that there is no room for negotiation with terrorist groups that align themselves with ISIS. They have no interest in peace agreements or even in simply overtaking neighboring lands such as Israel and Palestine. Instead, their goal is world domination and a forced submission of everyone to Islam.
- Pray for the safety of the White House and the United States from the ongoing assault of ISIS sympathizers.
