No one is safe from the hoards of snakes that have moved into the cities due to the extreme drought. So far, 6 people have been killed and many more have been poisoned. Even the livestock is not safe, as buffalo and cattle are being attacked as well.
A snake plague of Biblical proportions is affecting Iraq due to the drought in that region. It’s not bad enough that ISIS has taken over large parts of this same area, due to funding, training and arming by U.S. President Hussein Obama.
Media outlet Jews News reports:
“People are terrified and are leaving their homes,” says Jabar Mustafa, a medical administrator, who works in a hospital in the southern province of Dhi Qar. “We knew these snakes before, but now they are coming in huge numbers. They are attacking buffalo and cattle as well as people.” Doctors in the area say six people have been killed and 13 poisoned.
Many of the farmers in the rural areas outlying the cities in the area have gone to the cities seeking work, and the hoards of snakes have been said to have taken over their abandoned houses. Many of the farmers and their families are afraid to return to their homes for this reason.
