Michael McCaul (R-TX), continues to have serious concerns with Islamist terrorism, overseas and here on American soil. McCaul is the Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee and has released the highlights of the growing terror threats Americans face and there’s definitely a pattern.
1) Islamist terrorists have been attempting to infiltrate the United States as authorities have uncovered jihadists who were resettled in America through the refugee resettlement program.
Omar Faraj Saeed Al Hardan and Aws Mohammed Younis Al-Jayab were Iraqi refugees that were resettled to the U.S.
2) The United States faces an unprecedented terror threat level at home due to the continued failure to destroy ISIS.
There have been six confirmed terror plots, linked to ISIS in the first eight weeks of 2016.
3) Sanctuaries for terror recruits are expanding and going on the offensive.
Libya, Yemen, Turkey and the United States have seen an expansion of ISIS members and their offensive could include chemical or biological weapons.
Chairman McCaul says, “The Islamist terror threat remains alarmingly high as recent arrests and terror plots demonstrate. This year is on track to be as dangerous as – if not worse than – 2015 for the American homeland and our national security.”
Nice work Hussein Obama, has America ever been more vulnerable?
